The city of Hamburg and Hannover during the 2020 spring lockdown
Lockdown in Germany during Covid-19. Most activities were stopped by the Government with the aim of reducing coronavirus infections. In the area where I live, in big cities around here such as Hamburg and Hannover, only basic services were granted with very strict rules. Children were at home from schools; bars, restaurants, cinemas and other cultural places were closed and most of the workers were working from home or faced extraordinary layoffs.
