Antonino Condorelli was born in Catanzaro, Calabria in southern Italy in 1973.
When he was only 12 years old he discovered his love for painting and general art and began playing with his fathers old camera.
When he was 18 years old he met an important freelance photographer who was covering mafia and kidnapping events in Calabria.
His mentor taught him the art of photography until he attended the photojournalism school in Milan. Upon graduation he received the highest final evaluation rating of 30/30.
In 2000, after years contributing to local newspapers, Antonino began freelancing and became a stringer for Italian agencies. He has covered sports and political events, as well as foreign social reporting.
He has worked in Argentina, Burundi, Romania, South Africa, and Italy accomplishing features about psychiatric hospitals and Easter celebrations in Calabria and clandestine landings on the south Italian coasts.
His pictures have been published in News from Babylon, Aktuāln.Cz, Novinky, Portland media Center, and in major Italian newspapers and magazines. He has exhibited his photos in Italy and currently is completing a long term project about gypsies in Europe.
Antonino Condorelli is based in Italy and is represented in Italy by Omega fotocronache Milan, he also works on assignemnts for editorial subjects.
